17/03/08 - GIVE US ANOTHER CHANCE TO ROCK YOUR SOCKS OFF...
After an almighty long break writing, perfecting and rehearsing, Ego Trick come back with a new look which will be worked on over the next couple of weeks. Keep your eyes peeled for new tracks uploaded and recorded with the bands good friends at Silent Hill Studios and....*stunned silence* (drum role please) Ego Trick have leaked to us, your humble chroniclers, that a music video is scheduled for recording during the upcoming summer and it's been heard that underground film production house, Tedium Pictures, will be teaming up with the boys to bring their evil dreams to fruition.... 21/06/07 - EGO TRICK ARE BACK
After a brief break from gigging, Ego Trick are back with some fresh new tunes oozing with hard riffs and dirty vocals. Come check them out at The Live & Loud Bar in Guildford this Saturday. It's gonna be a blast. More details in the Gigs section.
20/04/07 - REMASTERED TRACKS
"Ride" and "Show Me How To Fly" have been remastered by our good friend, Marc Francois at The Dark Room Studio and are now available to download from this site and our myspace site www.myspace.com/egotrickband. Also, new photos have been uploaded and a new look site.
19/04/07 - UPDATE
Well, after a successful couple of months gigging, Ego Trick have taken a brief hiatus to continue writing and rehearsing all new epic songs. We've also had two of our tracks from our debut EP remastered with vocals re-recorded. These will be available both here and on the Myspace site soon. We'll be back on the gigging scene soon, so keep checking us out for more updates.
27/02/07 - UPDATE
After a rather hectic month of rehearsals and fine tuning, Ego Trick have managed to perform 2 live performances at the very popular Live & Loud Bar in Guildford. 3 more gigs are planned now for March. New photos have been added to the gallery as well as information on upcoming gigs. Check them out.

23/12/06 - IT'S CHRISTMASSSS!!!!
Well, it's nearly Christmas and nearly the end of 2006. This year's been a blast for the band and they would like to wish everyone a Very Ego Christmas and a Tricky New Year. The band are taking a short break for Christmas but they'll be announcing their debut gig very shortly. Stay tuned and stay safe.
18/12/06 - HUZZAH!!! The EP has finally been mastered and will be available to download the Media page from tomorrow. Yes, it's true. 10/12/06 - Ego Trick are proud to announce that after a days solid graft in the studios yesterday, the bands first EP has been recorded and is now in the process of being mastered. This should be completed just before Christmas.
17/11/06 - IT'S CONFIRMED!!!! Ego Trick will be going into the Studio to record their first (of many, we hope) EP, affectionately titled "Beautiful Nothing". More news coming soon...
